Cheyenne Peterson
OWNER & INTERIOR DESIGNER
Hi I'm Cheyenne Peterson owner & head designer for CB Peterson Interior Design. I am a graduate of the Art Institute of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and a minor in Architecture. I have worked as a design assistant for three years while being a student, and a full time Interior Designer at CoCo Milano's for two years, now an Independent Interior Designer.
I am an up-beat person and very passionate about my field of work.
My design strategy begins where the design meets livability.
Example, The client could want a space to have historical inspiration with a touch of modern aspects and it would be up to me to find a blend of livability, design and unity.
I want to design the life you want. Building a foundation with elegant pieces inspired by classic forms, and focus on the finer points to bring out a look that is authentic and fresh. I personally love the classic furnishings with beautiful lines that honor the artistry and workmanship. When it comes to designing the best life for the client, I encourage the client to have their own style and taste, even if they think the styles don'd blend. That is where the phrase 'Form Follows Function' really comes to play. We want to start with livability in mind, and anchor the room with style that feel as beautiful as they look. I find inspiration for decorative design elements in the architectural details of historic structures. I believe that by keeping the style simple it leaves the luxury to the details of the space.
